Our new facilities in Palm Springs are amazing, and we are looking for experienced customer service experts to join our dedicated team of Pet-Experts! Pay rate:
Starting at $17 an hour (depending on experience) Full time Positions available Tailwaggers Job Perks! Medical, dental, and optional vision plans for full-time employees 15% off all food and supplies (excluding services) Employee rates on grooming/daycare and exterior services Monthly allowance for your specific pet(s) Work in a place where we are like a good family and there are always CUTE puppies! We?re looking for candidates who love, care for, or have worked with pets in the past, as we see dozens (sometimes hundreds!) of dogs and cats every day in our shops.
Past pet-industry experience is not required, but it?s always a plus! A position at Tailwaggers is not your normal retail job.
Each guest who walks in our doors gets a catered, one-on-one experience as we help them achieve solutions their pet-related needs and wants.
Customers excitedly come to Tailwaggers as their first and foremost location for pet food and groceries, supplements and vitamins, grooming, and play needs! (and so much more!) We expect our team, through our ongoing training and learning tools, to be excited about becoming knowledgeable in pet health and our guests' ongoing satisfaction.
Ideal Candidates will:
Have previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system Have previous retail or sales experience Be eager to learn about and promote healthy pet-living by training in our great products Have open work availability Enjoy working with and getting to know people and their pets Be able to perform professionally under pressure, both in person and on the phone Some daily duties of a Tailwagger team member are (but not limited to):
Welcoming customers into the store, engaging, treating the pets that are visiting, providing excellent customer service Staying knowledgeable about our range of pet food and supplies Explaining to customers the best products for their animals? needs Recommending related products to increase customers? options and enrich the shopping experience Accepting and processing orders, operate the POS register, and resolving customer return-issues Promoting special sales, offers, and awareness of store loyalty program performing day-to-day cleaning and tasks as assigned We look forward to hearing from you soon!.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
