San Jacinto State Park.
During your approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below.
Once you reach the Mountain Station--elevation 8,516 feet--enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, natural history museum, two documentary theaters, gift shop and over 50 miles of hiking trails.
SUMMARY The Sales & PR Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Sales and Public Relations/Affairs department of the organization by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Answer all incoming calls to PSAT, which includes screening and directing calls to appropriate Tramway staff.
Respond to all general Tramway emails received daily.
Provide excellent telephone customer services by providing accurate information and ensuring hold times are minimal.
Update telephone system weather recording, current events, and general information recording daily.
Update weather/current events and distribute to appropriate destinations daily (i.
e.
Tram Flash).
Assist PR Manager in monitoring and responding to general social media inquiries.
Provide all aspects of customer service including, but not limited to:
greeting visitors, answering visitor questions, helping visitors with special needs, assisting customers with refunds and assisting various staff.
Assist with clerical work such as typing, composing and/or editing routine correspondence and other administrative duties.
Ensure telephone system equipment is in proper working order and report any irregularities.
Order all office stationary, business cards, forms, etc.
(VP of Marketing to create and/or approve all design work.
) Process outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail.
Oversee and process all outgoing mail postage, parcels, shipping, and related equipment and supplies.
Ensure office supplies are replenished and ordered as needed.
Ensure all emailed and/or faxed voucher confirmations are properly processed.
Administer all aspects of the Lost and Found program.
Assist with quoting group ticket rates, typing and processing group reservations, changing/updating group reservations and coordinating group needs with various departments as needed.
Fulfill monthly mailings of Alpine Club and Tramsters Club.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of administrative assistant experience in a customer service based environment.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS California driver's license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety warnings and directions in English.
Bi-lingual is preferred.
Ability to write routine correspondence.
