Role Summary The Sales Representative is responsible for managing accounts and driving sales for the company's portfolio of products.
The Sales Representative provides ongoing support to their market and Brand team members to ensure the proper ordering, distribution, receiving, and account success across their territory.
Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Assists dispensaries with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets Acts as a resource to dispensaries in contract opportunities, proposals, marketing plans, and merchandising strategies Coordinate with operations counterparts to ensure proper supply planning and demand forecasting Becomes actively involved in dispensary sales orientations and training programs Attends trade shows as needed Provide feedback to the marketing and product departments regarding customers' insights and questions Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining accounts and assisting resellers in attaining new accounts Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided Answers questions from dispensaries and handles complaints Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as needed Supports Brand Ambassadors and ensuring their events are created and have proper execution Supervisory Responsibilities Supports Brand team members in the market Required Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong supervisory and leadership skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Travel Required Local travel to dispensaries is required on a weekly basis Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field 3-5 years' experience as a Sales Manager, knowledge of CBD & CBN preferred Cannabis industry knowledge and experience preferred Proven track record of hitting sales growth targets Other Responsibilities Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
