JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Administrative Services Manager will take over administrative operations of key functions within the Tribal Administration.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized and efficient professional overseeing administrative services personnel.
We're looking for a take-charge individual who feels comfortable delegating tasks among employees and who can make changes to improve our efficiency and productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) Manage the Administrative Services department to include workspace, equipment management, safety, security, commissary, and tribal administration services Provides full office support to Tribal Government employees at all Tribal buildings, including admin services, workspace management, material support, and commissary.
Manages the acquisition, protection, maintenance, and disposal of physical assets, including office supplies, printers, and fixtures.
Management and maintenance of Tribal government transportation fleet.
Manage policies, procedures, and internal controls for the Tribal Administration and Team dining room Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
Serve as the liaison between administrative personnel and senior management, communicating needs and concerns Work with community, public or private resources, and other organizations as appropriate in the delivery of tribal services.
Responsible for Administration and TDR budget.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoices and payments.
Perform cost reduction research and recommend procedural or policy changes to improve operations.
Identify outdated practices and develop continual improvement processes for support operations.

Also may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.
on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or similar discipline; two (2) years of Tribal Government Management experience; or six years of related experience and/or training.
3-4 years of management experience preferred.
Documented computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skill.
Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and employee development skills Effective verbal presentation skills Experience with event planning preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
