Complete inventories for specific species in potential habitat areas, document locations using maps and GIS/GPS technology.
Process samples and enter data into databases.
Interpret aerial photos, land-sat imagery, and topographic maps to determine land use and vegetation distribution and to plot nest/herd breeding sites.
Higher grade positions my lead lower-level grades, plan projects related to wildlife habitat improvement, and create analytical reports on environmental impacts to wildlife and present results at scientific and technical forums.

Collecting ecological site information for sensitive, threatened or endangered wildlife.

Physical Demands:
