In collaboration with facility administration, the DON allocates department resources in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
Collaborates with other department heads, medical professionals, consultants, and organizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to develop, support and coordinate resident care, related administrative functions, and to represent the interests of the facility.
Requirements:
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in California.
Current CPR certification.
Must pass pre-employment back ground check and physical.
Point Click Care and SNF experience preferred.
