Summary:
With the direction and collaboration of the Volunteer Services Manager, The Volunteer Services Coordinator (VSC) is responsible for executing strategies and procedures that lead to the overall success of the volunteer program, its administration and support.

Responsibilities:
Administration:
With direction from the Volunteer Services Manager, The VSC is responsible for supervision of the Volunteer Services Assistant and the Volunteer Services Event Assistant; In collaboration with the Volunteer Services Manager, the VSC works with the team to build a culture of a unified Volunteer Team, DAP/Revivals; Oversees Volunteer Database and works with team to maintain volunteer database including records regarding volunteer timesheets, hours of volunteer service, application packets and reports; Creates and administers Volunteer Surveys.
Works with Director of Brand Marketing for Communication Materials; Works with the Volunteer Manager on budget and any concerns related to the Volunteer Services Department; Schedules and administers the volunteers of DAP Health departments and areas such as Community Health, Welcome Desk, Food and Transportation, Wellness Center and Health Clinics; Assists DAP department managers with volunteer orientation and ensures appropriate safety training for each volunteer in coordination with the Safety & Emergency Preparedness Manager; Audits volunteer files to ensure completeness; Review and update volunteer job descriptions including responsibilities to ensure they are up to date; Counsels volunteers and ends relationships when necessary; Recruitment:
Recruits volunteers for all DAP Health/Revivals opportunities through available recruitment methods; Reviews Volunteer applications and conducts in-person interviews, screenings and schedules orientation of volunteers; Works with the Volunteer team to development new recruitment methods and opportunities; Retention:
In collaboration with the Volunteer Services Manager works to ensure a quality experience for all Volunteers:
Helps to create volunteer team building activities such as an advisory committee; Partners with the Volunteer team on the creation of the annual Volunteer Appreciation event; Works with the Volunteer team to establish programs for Volunteer recognition; Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervises the Volunteer Services assistant team; Partners when appropriate with People Operations; Required Skills/Abilities:
Intermediate to advanced database management experience; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent public speaking skills; Ability to:
Maintain collaborative working relationships; interface positively with all departments and Revivals stores; Effectively complete multiple projects and tasks; Create and conduct presentations.
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
Education and
Experience:
Volunteer management or recruiting experience; Ability to learn new software and implement/plan conversions to new systems; Experience tracking statistical data Working Condition and Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 24 pounds; This job operates in an office setting and requires frequent times of sitting, standing, repetitive motion and talking; Does not involve contact with patients or patient specimens.
No exposure to blood, body fluids, non-intact skin or tissue specimens; Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to safe work practices.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
