Seeking an estimator to secure contracts.
The ideal candidate will be pro-active, detail oriented, highly organized with great communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years HVAC estimating and project management experience.
Demonstrates excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and is always ready to follow-up.
Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others.
KEY
Responsibilities:
BIDDING:
Tracking new jobs to bid from multiple sources; Obtaining and managing all bidding documents; Maintaining bid calendar; Attending pre-bid meetings as necessary; Managing bid processes through an approved bidding system (document management, subcontractor outreach & communication); Assembling bid package to include all elements outlined in the instructions to bidders.
Hand delivering bids as necessary.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Oversees and manages crews to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Manage all change orders and execute per contract requirements and deadlines.
Creating and maintaining submittals in a timely manner.
Attending pre and post meetings; Coordinating submittals for work to be self-performed by the company; Subcontractor outreach and follow-up to ensure coordination/collaboration with the PM; Processing and follow-up of RFIs; Project closeout.
