Purchased from Fletcher Jones Mercedes Dealership in Las Vegas via Mercedes Tourist Program and delivery was taken by owner in Paris November 1973 for European adventure and brought back to Los Angeles after completion.
Was built with California emissions and bumpers with euro headlights and headrest delete.
Owner was well known automotive restorer, race engine builder and crew chief for Indy Cars and hydroplanes.
He also built the 1911 Renault TC that was in the movie Titanic.
